Michigan Sugar Artists
Michigan is a hotbed of talent in the world of the sugar arts. The largest cake club in the world, ICES (International Cake Exploration Societe) started here, and many new sugar techniques have been developed here.
These pictures are taken from various events where Michigan Sugar Artistry has been displayed. The cake on the right is the Michigan ICES chapter’s display for the ICES convention, 2009 and represents everything about this amazing state from the seasons to the state bird, and was overseen by many of the Michigan masters.
